The list is really long, but in this post, let me focus on the top 5 things you should be doing with your Facebook Page. All you have to do is to make sure that you know what to do with your Facebook page.
5 things you should be doing with your Facebook Page
What you need to do is focus on the basic things that will keep your Facebook page engaged. You’ll find a plethora of information on the web, but then there are some important things that you need to keep in mind when you are focusing on your biz and promoting it on Facebook.
Here is a list of MY five things that you should be doing with your Facebook Page.
Having a CTA button
A call-to-action button helps to direct the people who land on your page to go to a certain link. It could be linked to your biz page, your website, your blog or any link that you want to drive traffic to. The idea is to increase an awareness among people that you provide a particular service. This is one of the most important actions that you need to perform on your page.

Sharing external posts
If you create videos that showcase your biz, let it not just be in YouTube. Why not share it on Facebook as well? Not only will you have something interesting for your Facebook Business Page to share, but you’ll also have the opportunity to get more people to watch your business’s video. Share a bit from your other social media as well. Cross post from Instagram, Twitter, Quora or any other social media that you are active in. Apart from this if you find something that resonates with your biz, share it. Don’t limit yourself.
Knowing when to post
Two important factors that contribute to the engagement on your FB page is what you post and when you post. Yes, it matters a lot to your page about when you post it. One quick way of figuring out when to post is looking up your insights. Your Facebook Page Insights have a lot to tell you about how your page is performing, so ensure that you look it up at least twice a week. Watch the video below to know more about when to post on your Facebook Page.
Monitoring your competitors
No, I don’t mean stalking them, but sometimes you need to follow what your competitors are doing to get an idea on what could work for your page. Monitoring competitors can provide you valuable insights on what works and what may not. You can compare what you are doing and what your competitors are. Monitoring your competitors From revealing opportunities, highlighting valuable information and getting the right information works a long way to help you track how you’re performing against others in the industry.
Using the right visuals
Did you know that studies have shown that people will respond more to images, graphics and videos as opposed to text-heavy posts? In most cases posts that are pure text are likely to get less interaction or engagement in comparison to those that are accompanied by some sort of images, links or videos. Avoid pure-text statuses. Instead opt for posts accompanied with visuals, polls and graphs, and polls on your timeline to get you the right traction.
These are some of the things you should be doing with your Facebook Page to get more engagement and up your visibility. Do you have some sure shot techniques that work for you? Share them with me in the comments!
