5 ways to engage with fans on Facebook
Balance Content
You will need to try different types of content for your Facebook Page. Try a combination of videos, pictures, links, shared posts and links to your blog posts. These are some types of content that you can try on your Facebook page to gauge the engagement. You will constantly need to track your Insights to see what is working and what is not. Once you get the data from the insights, you can make a content calendar for your posts that you need for your page.
Find and share timely content
When you share a trending post, you are likely to get more viewers. Look up on the right side of the newsfeed on your Facebook. If you find something that resonates with your business or your thoughts and values, share it on your page to get some interaction moving!
Join a conversation on the go
This one is pretty much my favourite. If a particular post is getting responses, start participating in the conversation, instead of waiting for a few hours and replying to the comments. It fizzles out the enthusiasm. This is true if you have asked your audience to respond to something, particularly a question or have conducted a poll. Participate to show that you are actually looking for a feedback.
Post when fans are online
Yes! To get more interaction, you have to post when your fans are online. How do you know when your fans are online? Simple. When you are logged in to your Facebook Page, click on Insights and click on POSTS displayed on the left hand side menu. It opens up a graph that displays the activity of your fans on your page. Use the data to schedule your posts.
Use hashtags
I have written quite a few posts on hashtags too. The idea of using a hashtag is to be more visible. When you use relevant tags, your posts are likely to be seen more. Use relevant and the right hashtags for your posts to be seen in potential searches.
